OUR MISSION
The mission of the New Jersey Alliance of Black Superintendents (NJABS) is to boldly and effectively support Black Superintendents and affiliate members within the state of New Jersey and to address the needs of all scholars in New Jersey with an emphasis on Black scholars through a concerted focus in the areas of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion; Minority Recruitment and Retention; securing and incorporating best instructional and leadership practices; and brokering partnerships with others who support the organization’s mission. The New Jersey Alliance of Black Superintendents (NJABS) will serve as a resource to network and exchange ideas to improve opportunities for Black educational leaders and scholars.

The vision of the New Jersey Alliance of Black Superintendents (NJABS) is to advocate, with fidelity, for access to equitable resources and opportunities for all leaders to grow and for scholars to advance with an emphasis on Black leaders and Black Scholars.
